Ryuno Black is a dye based ink developed to resemble traditional Japanese calligraphy ink, called sumi. Though standard pigmented sumi is not suited for use with fountain pens, we wondered if we couldnt translate the qualities of this traditional ink into a dye based fountain pen ink. This is why we chose to partner with KURETAKE, Ltd. who specialize in sumi production. The added earthy fragrance makes for
